I'm Becka, I'm 19 years old and I live in Ipswich. I'm currently studying Business Management at the University of Essex, but my real passion is fashion! As such, I spend my free time shopping, earning money to shop, indulging in fashion blogs and reading many many magazines! I also love seeing my friends, watching American TV (Big Bang Theory to Tom and Jerry!), doodling, and skiing whenever I get the chance. I really don't know what I want to do in life yet (though I'm currently thinking interior designer, fashion designer, wedding planner, fashion magazine journalist, buyer, stylist... just spitballin'), and I absolutely love doing nail art - when I have the time! Oh, and I LOVE Russell Howard. And Ashton Kutcher.
My style is categorised quite easily with two words: feminine and sparkly! I'm not a fan of androgynous style - I don't even own a blazer and never, EVER wear jeans - and I'm really into maximalism, so I love wearing lots of colour, sparkles, jewellery and patterns. I don't really have a main fashion influence, but I like boho style (Nicole Richie is a goddess), 50's, 60's, and anything that overdoses on colour and sparkle! I'm a bit of a magpie...
Style Parade is something I've wanted to do for a really long time. In fact, the blog itself, under several different guises, has existed since March 2012, empty and waiting for someone to love it! And now I've started, I'll attempt to pack it full of outfits, fashion, shopping lists, doodles and god knows what else! Essentially, I'm Becka, and the rest will fill itself in as we go along.
